and movie production. It was founded in 2004 by Carl and Vivian Adams.

BackCorner Productions is still seeking domestic distribution for Village Vengeance.
Soulmate(Dot)Wed, another feature-length, romantic comedy is now completed. The movie stars
Kaycee Clark, Adam Ropp, Shoentel Scott, Dennis Addison and Sherry Whisman. "Soulmate(Dot)Wed" has
been nominated for a Bonehead of Excellence Award in two categories, Best OK Soil
and Best Comedy, at the Barebones International Film Festival in Muskogee Ok. It is currently on the
film festival circuit.
BackCorner Productions has completed two short movies. "A Hit On
Trent " and "Hot Flash Hannah."
A Hit on Trent, an urban drama focusing on the impact of gang activity on one family, stars Clarise
Johnson and Eugene Rigsby. It also features Dennis Addison, DiMarco Hanley, Devin Cole, Carlos Adams, Jerome Bethea, Summer
Bethea, Daniel Brett Johnson, Earline Johnson, Versena Coleman, Marcus Clark and Franklin Clark.
A Hit On Trent has been nominated for a Bonehead of Excellence Award in the category
"Best Domestic Violence Awareess Film", at the Barebones International Film Festival in Muskogee Ok.
Hot Flash Hannah is a short comedy about a menopausal woman's battle with and strategies for dealing with hot
flashes. It is also a celebration of the creativity, stamina and humor of middle-aged women. It stars Earline Johnson
and co-stars Sherry Whisman, Sarah M. Hall, Susan Burlew, Alice Whitecloud, Donna McFadden, Kelli Blohm, Trudy Wooster,
LaTela Jefferson, Rick Luellen, Wanda Armstrong, and Brett Johnson. Both short films are presently on the festival
circuit.

Village Vengeance won the Audience Choice Award for Best Picture at the Bare Bones Script-2-Screen Independent
Film Festival ( Bonehead Award, Oct. 2006).
