Village Vengeance, the second feature-length movie of BackCorner Productions, was premiered
at the Bare Bones Script2ScreenFest on October 7, 2006 at the Metro Campus of Tulsa Community College. The movie is an adaptation
of the short story, Vengeance, by Tulsa author Ingrid Brown. Vengeance is based on the true story about a serial
rapist who terrorized a city neighborhood.
The movie stars Sheontel Scott and Jerome Bethea. Co-stars are Dennis Addison and Versena Coleman. The
movie also features Special Guest Star, Carol Speed, as “Cookie”. Ms. Speed is well known for her film roles during
the 1970s in movies such as The Mack, The Big Bird Cage, Black Samson, and Abby.
Village Vengeance is currently being distributed by
ITN Distribution, and was sold to Russia. ITN Distribution are sale agents
who distribute movies world wide to the various film
markets, such as NATPE, the Berlin/European Film Market,
Cannes Film Festival, and the American Film Market (AMF).
BackCorner Productions is currently seeking investors and producers for upcoming movie
projects.
